Try these smoothies to gain weight!

Loosing weight is OK. It is difficult but it happens.

Gaining weight is even more difficult.

How much ever you try, it doesn’t go up. This is all the metabolism work!

Dealing with patients everyday, i thought of scribbling my thoughts!

Here are some interesting smoothies which will help you gain weight in exciting way!

(1) Fruit peanut butter smoothie.

Ingredients:-

  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 5 large frozen strawberry
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp. of peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp of whole fat peanut butter

Method:-

  • Put milk, banana, strawberry and curd together in a blender till it becomes smooth
  • Add peanut butter and blend again
  • Add ice if you wish too!
  • Serve chilled

Note:- You can change the quantities according to your requirements

(2) Healthy gain smoothie!

Ingredients:-

  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 2 bananas or mangoes (Seasonal)
  • 4 tbsp. of peanut butter
  • 1/4th cup of pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4th cup of watermelon seeds
  • 1/4th cup of rains
  • 1/4th cup of cashews
  • 1/4th cup of pistachios
  • 1/4th cup of almonds
  • 1/4th cup of dried figs
  • 4 cups of spinach
  • 1 avocado (Optional)
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract (Optional)

Method:-

  • Blend all the ingredients together till it becomes smooth
  • Add ice to make it more smooth
  • You can store it in the refrigerator and it can be consumed later

Note:- You can change the quantities according to your requirements

(3) Healthy cinnamon smoothie

Ingredients:-

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg powder (Jaiphal)
  • 1 tsp. of cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. of maple syrup
  • 1 cup of almond milk or cashew milk or pistachio milk
  • 1 tbsp. of cashew
  • 1 tbsp. of almonds
  • 1 tbsp. of pistachios
  • 1 tbsp. of coconut (Optional)

Method:-

  • Blend all the ingredients together till it becomes smooth
  • Add ice to make it more smooth
  • You can store it in the refrigerator and it can be consumed later

Note:-

  • Don’t overuse nutmeg (Jaiphal) powder, it has sedative properties.
  • You can use honey instead of maple syrup as a option
  • You can change the quantities according to your requirements

(4) Strawberry – cream smoothie

Ingredients:-

  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup of sliced banana
  • 1/3 cup of cashews
  • 1/3 cup of pistachios
  • 1/2 cup of mejdool dates
  • 2 tbsp. of vanilla cream
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk or pistachio milk

Method:-

  • Blend all the ingredients together till it becomes smooth
  • Add ice to make it more smooth
  • You can store it in the refrigerator and it can be consumed later

Note:- You can change the quantities according to your requirements

(5) Its the nutty touch!

Ingredients:-

  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup of almonds
  • 1/3 cup of pistachios
  • 1/3 cup of cashews
  • 1/3 cup of mixed berries
  • 1/3 cup of mixed seeds
  • 2 tbsp. of honey
  • 1 tbsp. of cocoa powder

Method:-

  • Blend all the ingredients together till it becomes smooth
  • Add ice to make it more smooth
  • You can store it in the refrigerator and it can be consumed later
  • Sprinkle some cinnamon powder to get the crunchy flavor!

Note:- You can change the quantities according to your requirements

There are 2 types of weight gain in which either you gain fat or you gain muscles.

You should focus on the the weight gain in which you gain muscles and not fat.

You shouldn’t be loaded with calories, but you should be loaded with nutrients!
