Weight Loss Chapati/Roti

This super weight loss chapati is full of nutrition and helps you to lose 5 kgs in 15 days. Most of the people are having whole wheat chapatis/Rotis as it high in fiber etc but it has some drawback too. People those who want to lose weight don’t know that only consuming whole wheat chapati/roti will not allow you to lose weight as it has gluten which results in malnutrition and weight gain.

It is a myth that consuming chapatis will help you to lose weight as whole wheat flour/Atta/ Atta chapati is only high in fiber but it will not allow you to lose weight.

So, now here are the recipes for various weight loss chapatis which are useful for the diabetic patients and also for those who want to lose weight.

RECIPES:

1) Super Weight Loss Chapati

Ingredients

1 cup of multigrain flour/Ata/Atta

8 tablespoon of oats

1 tablespoon of flax seeds powder

1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

Method:

Firstly, heat a pan and then add oats, flaxseed and sesame seed. Dry roast for 30-40 seconds and then turn off the gas. Take a grinder and make a fine powder and then mix it with multigrain flour and make a smooth dough and make small balls of the dough and with the help of Rolling pin rollout medium size chapati and then make chapatis on a hot griddle and have with oil-free sabji Dal vegetable raita etc.

2) Weight Loss Protein Chapati

Ingredients

* 2 tablespoons of Chia seeds soaked in 1cup of water for 2 hours.

* 2 cups of whole wheat flour.

* Some finely chopped coriander leaves.

* 1/2 tablespoon of Himalayan pink salt.

Method:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and make a smooth dough and then make small balls of the dough and rolled out a flat chapati. Cook it on a hot griddle and serve with oil-free sabji, lentils and vegetable raita.

3) Weight Loss Chapati

Ingredients:

2 cups of multigrain flour

20 gms of Basil seeds soaked in 100 ml of warm water for 30 minutes.

1/2 tablespoon of carom seeds.

1/2 tablespoon of Himalayan pink salt.

Method:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and make a smooth dough and then make small balls of the dough and rolled out a flat chapati. Cook it on a hot griddle and serve with oil-free sabji, lentils and vegetable raita.

4) Marvelous Weight Loss Chapati

Ingredients:

1 cup of wheat flour

1/4 cup gram flour.

1/3 Cup crushed peanut

Some finely chopped coriander leaves and a green chilly

1/4 Cup Oats

1 tbsp Himalayan pink salt

Water as per requirement

Method:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and make a smooth dough and then prepare small balls of the dough and rolled out a flat chapati. Cook it on a hot griddle and serve with oil-free sabji, lentils and vegetable raita.

5) Veggie Weight Loss Chapati

Ingredients:

One medium sized broccoli

Some fresh coriander leaves or cilantro

Some fresh mint leaves

2 green chillies

2 cup multigrain flour

1/2 tbsp Himalayan pink salt

Method:

Heat a saucepan and then add a half cup of water, when it starts boiling then add medium sized broccoli to the water for 5 to 6 minutes. Turn off the gas, strain broccoli from water and save the water for making a dough as its rich in fiber. Roughly grind boiled broccoli with mint leaves, green chillies, and cilantro or coriander leaves without adding water. Mix this with multigrain flour and make a soft dough and make small balls of the dough and with the help of Rolling pin rollout medium size chapati and then make chapatis on a hot griddle and have with oil-free sabji Dal vegetable raita etc.

These were the various weight loss chapatis which will help you to lose 5-7 kgs in 15 days and following are the health benefits of the above ingredients:

a) Whole Wheat Flour

Whole wheat flour is rich in dietary fiber, calcium, iron and in Selenium.

b) Multigrain Flour

Multigrain flour is high in dietary fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals, and energy value and low in saturated fat.

c) Oats

Oats are healthy grain, full of fiber and keep us full for a long time. It is low in calorie and high in fiber and also a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants. It contains a powerful soluble fiber called beta-glucan result in lower the cholesterol level, control insulin etc.

d) Flaxseed
