Yoga, as a form of spiritual and physical exercise, is something that people all over the world indulge in, whether alone or in groups. India is renowned for its cultural heritage and its contribution to the beginning and the strong foundation that Yoga has today. Now there are many reasons as to why Yoga is necessary and relevant in everyone’s life, but I personally believe that the most important one is that Yoga can be done by anyone, of any age, at any time. That’s why I believe that everyone should begin doing Yoga, even if you believe in starting slow and pace yourself into it.
One misconception I think people have is that they think Yoga is something that takes a lot of practice and you won’t feel the benefits before long. In the time I have learnt and practiced it, I think I can safely say, not at all.
Why Yoga Poses for Beginners :
- In this busy life of working at a desk or staring at your computer, the stationary pose you sit in leads to toxins building up in your body as you get cramps and don’t get to stretch in between. Yoga improves the flow of blood in your body while dealing with more. It also makes you flexible and stifles any pains in your limbs. As if that’s not enough, these simple and easily done Yoga exercises eventually de-stresses your mind and makes you content and happy.
- In a country like India, Yoga is more than simply an exercise for the body and soul. Ever since our Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Modi began promoting it, it’s become an official part of our proud culture and Indian Heritage. Everyone, in its basic roots, should learn Yoga poses for beginners before June, when we now celebrate the International Yoga day on the 21st.
- Yet, even after this, I see so many people who are reluctant to continue doing Yoga or even learn Yoga poses for beginners. They all have the same excuse or mean the same thing, one way or the other when they say that they can’t stretch properly on the floor or they can’t spare enough time to feel a change. That’s what they think and you may too, but I’m one to rid people of this silly perception since everyone can still practice Yoga even if what they are saying is true.
Yoga poses for beginners should include these basic steps for a steady start:
Balasana-This pose benefits nervous system and the posture calms the mind and eases stress. It also strengthens the lymphatic system.
Setu Bandh Asana-This reduces blood pressure and controls the backaches and headaches you may experience. The posture leads to proper stretching of back and legs.
Garudasana-While reducing tension stored in the shoulders and legs, this pose eventually improves focus and balance.
A mixture of such poses along should be sufficient to basically Learn Yoga Poses for beginners and intermediates alike.
