Breast cancer can be prevented by proper intake of cruciferous vegetables in your diet. The functional compound present in this vegetable is di-indolyl-methane and indole-3-carbinol. 3. Mushroom-

Mushroom has the anti-cancerous properties in it, thus making it a medicinal beneficial. There are lots of edible mushrooms available on the market. Reishi, Maitake, button, shitake mushroom are edible and has a major role in cancer prevention. Malignant tumor growth is inhibited by consuming reishi mushroom on your regular diet.

4. Green Tea-

Green tea is loaded with antioxidants that help in preventing the onset of cancer. They help in preventing colon, rectum, intestine and pancreatic cancer in a human being.

5. Tomato-

Lycopene is the compound present in tomato that only is responsible for giving red color in tomato. This compound has the cancer prevalence, on regular consumption of tomato in your diet it helps in preventing prostate cancer, also this tomato is available throughout the year, it cost is less than other vegetables, so try to incorporate it in your daily diet. DNA of the cells can be guarded by the lycopene, thus fighting against cancer.


Garlic contains the functional compound named allicin, this nutrient helps in preventing cancer occurring. The allicin compound fights with the free radicals and it prevents the oxidizing of it, thus the anti-inflammatory and anti-cancerous property of garlic makes it super beneficial food in countering the cancer cells. Garlic is considered to be the best food which is bust in everyone’s diet
